DENIS CUNÍ RODRÍGUEZ

Denis Cuní Rodríguez studied classical trombone in Cuba, where he earned his diploma. Between 2002 and 2007, he was a trombonist at the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba. At the same time, he performed with various renowned salsa bands. He He moved to Germany in 2010, where he was initially engaged at the Schauspielhaus Bochum. He performed on numerous concert tours and at the major jazz festivals, including with Richard Bona & Alfredo Rodríguez Band, The Temptations & Four Tops, Paquito de Rivera & The Clazz. Vol.1 Big Band, David Murray Cuban Ensemble feat. Omara Portuondo, David Murray & The Blues Orchestra, and James Blood Ulmer, traveling all over the world. He moved to Nürnberg in 2015 and is enriching the local music scene with his diverse performances ever since.
